Persistent Review Settings for Version Comparison

If I want to compare two versions of a file I have to 

• select 'compare'
• select 'with version'
• select 'overlay' (assuming I want to overlay)

Not bad if I'm doing one file. If I have two dozen, it's a pain to do that every time.

Would be great if that would stay persistent, or if once in that review setup I could navigate through all of the assets instead of needing to exit, selecting the next asset and resetting those options.
