Feature Request: Option to Display “Critical Path Only”
Issue:
In large programs consisting of multiple interconnected projects, the Critical Path view becomes cluttered and difficult to interpret. Currently, users can highlight the critical path, but not isolate it. Therefore, all non-critical tasks remain visible, which makes it nearly impossible to trace the true blocking sequence across projects.
Request:
Add a “Show Critical Path Only” or “Critical Path Filter” mode that hides all non-critical tasks and displays only:
-
Tasks and milestones on the critical path
-
Their direct dependencies and links
-
Optional summary indicators for collapsed structures
Why it matters:
This would make it much easier to inspect, communicate, and troubleshoot the true critical chain across multi-project programs without excessive visual noise. It would enable clearer reviews, faster diagnostics, and more reliable phase readiness analysis.
