Responsive views when browser window is resized
It would be incredibly helpful if views re-sized automatically to fit the window when a browser window is resized, particularly the Board view. Currently a scrollbar appears at the bottom for almost every view I use. I do notice Dashboards are pretty responsive and the widgets resize to fit into the current size of the browser window (to an extent), and this is the behavior I would expect across the entire platform.
Use case: As a Scrum Master and Project Manager, I run a lot of meetings and typically I'm the one who screenshares. I have two browser windows open on my monitor: the meeting on the left, and Wrike on the right. Usually I make the meeting window as narrow as possible to see more of Wrike, but it slows me down when I have to use the scrollbar at the bottom to see the rest of the Sprint board during daily Standup, or the Table view during a project collab session. This slows me down and makes the meetings less efficient. We recently migrated from Jira to Wrike, and we already miss the auto-resizing feature on the Jira board view - it made the status columns more narrow when we resized our windows (until it hit about 40% of the monitor size and then a scrollbar appeared).
When I'm not screensharing in a meeting, I often have two windows open on my monitor anyway, and one is typically Wrike, so overall not having a responsive web design slows me down. Small things, but they add up over the course of a day!
As always, thanks for the time and consideration!
Thank you for posting this detailed suggestion along with your current use case, Daisy Hibbard. I believe the views resizing will be beneficial for other users as well! We're forwarding your post to the responsible team now.
