Improvements to in-app Inbox notifications

Hello!

Compiling some bits of feedback for the in-app Inbox (and its notifications).

1. Implement compact Inbox view

  • It would be great if we could apply, as we can in other areas of Wrike, a compact view (vs. default view) to our Inbox. There's a lot of negative space between notifications and it's especially a struggle for folks using smaller screens (i.e. on laptops).
  • Having a dropdown choice as we can see in something like Table view would give users more control over how to display their Inbox.

2. Multi-select option in Inbox

  • Allow us to select multiple items so that we can bulk action them per the options available already (snooze, archive, mark as read/mark as unread).
  • Right now we need to go through them one by one and it could be tedious when multiple notifications get populated from something like an automation. My particular use case is that I'm testing something now and getting a wave of notifications that I'd like to be able to bulk archive.

Thanks!

Especially the last suggestion would be VERY useful!

Thanks for the support, Florian Kislich! I agree, the second one leans more on practicality!! Some of my colleagues show 99+ notifications on their Inbox UI - something like this would help clean that up in no time!

My users have been asking for a @Mention inbox feature, since tasks are not always assigned to person mentioned and do not show up in dashboards and can be easily missed or buried in the Wrike inbox. Can you add an option to add task mentions to My To Do list or a widget to Dashboards to resolve this?

Hey Anna Giacobbe 👋 Thanks for posting your suggestion in detail, and thank you @Florian Kislich for adding your support! It has now been forwarded to the Product team 👍

Hi Elva Mironova, thanks for your feedback as well. Have you tried creating a dashboard widget that tracks tasks they are following? This can help in keeping track of tasks where they are mentioned, even if they are not assigned. Let me know if this can be helpful for your use case.
