Automation Trigger for Dependency-Based Date Changes

Feedback:

I created an automation in Wrike to @mention the author and our email team when an email date is moved. This works well for manual date changes but doesn't trigger when dates are adjusted due to dependencies.

Details:

  • Intention: Notify relevant parties when email dates change.
  • Current Automation: Apply rule to task - When due date changes - Condition: Email - Add comment and mention.
  • Issue: Automation only triggers on manual date changes, not on dependency-based adjustments.

Request: Please consider enhancing the automation engine to recognize and trigger based on dependency-based date changes.

Kelsey Rudolph I hadn't realized this automation only applies to manual updates. I agree this needs to be implemented. :)
