Default Space/Project Settings
I'm struggling with some of the updated features and appearance of the platform and wondering if there is a way to set a default view for when I create new projects in my spaces. For example, with the update, it seems to be defaulting to a table view and sorting tasks by priority, but I very much prefer the list view and sorting by date. I know how to create these settings in individual projects, but it's frustrating to have to change these settings each time I create a new project. Is there any way to bulk set this across the board as the default for all projects?
Currently, Wrike does not support setting a default view globally for all projects or spaces. Each project, folder, or space needs to have its view set individually. If there are any updates in the future, we’ll be sure to let you know. 👍

Rohan V Regardless of the future state of the list view, right now when a new project is created it will use some sort of "default" view that it is getting from somewhere; it would be extremely helpful if we had the ability to set or change where that view is pulled from. I am struggling to understand why—with the ability to create and copy custom views—we can neither set nor influence which view is used for newly created projects. To me, just having the project inherit the parent view of the space or folder it is created in is logically a much better solution to begin with than just assigning a basic table view.
Having the ability to copy a view from a location and set it as the default for an individual project is great and all, but quickly becomes frivolous when one has to do it on every single project that is created. My team works through hundreds of projects a month and they become increasingly more frustrated when they have to copy and change the view every time.
Hi Taylor Fossey, I appreciate you taking the time to explain and share your thoughts. I'll forward your comment to the relevant product team for review. If there are any updates on this matter in the coming months, I'll make sure to keep you informed. 👍

Hi! Same here. Our team used to just have one project that we called our "template" and duplicated it so that all the fields stay the same. It was convenient, but doesn't work when you have project created by the request form.
Bottom line, I would also love if there was a way to easily apply a view to a project so I don't have to manually add my custom fields every time.
Welcome to the Wrike Community, Kelly Busby! Thank you for sharing your feedback and workaround. I will forward it to our product team. 👍🏽
