Notify users when they are added as a follower

Hello,

Currently, users do not get notified when they are added as Followers to a task or project. While users can manually choose to follow an item, there's also the possibility that a different user adds them instead. In the latter case, it would be beneficial to let them know when someone has added them as a follower for the same reasons that we get notified when work is assigned to us or shared with us from someone else; visibility.

Hi Anna Giacobbe, thank you for posting. As you’re aware, users currently do not receive notifications when they're added as followers.
However, users can adjust their email preferences to receive notifications in the following scenarios👇

  1. Changes to the date, assignee, or status of a task.
  2. Modifications to the task description or when files are added.
  3. Comments are made without @mentioning.
  4. A task is added to or removed from a project or folder.
We have forwarded your suggestion to the relevant product team, and if there are any developments in the coming months, we’ll be sure to let you know. 👍

Sadly Wrike has still more notification options by email than within Wrike itself, and the don't want to change it.
