Request Form user question type (Single vs. Multi)

Hi team,

We love how the User question type in request forms accurately pulls a list of active users in the platform. What would be interesting though would be to have 2 User question types: single user and multi users.

  • Single user --> allow the requester to select ONE user, can swap the user if they misclicked
  • Multi user --> allow the requester to select more than one user

Right now, any User question allows requesters to input multiple selections. We want, in some cases, to only allow for one person to be added, but currently can't control that (other than maybe write in the description to select one user - which not everyone reads). Right now, any User question acts like the above-recommended "multi user" option.

Also worth noting that we have these with other question types, so why not for users, too?! For example:

  • Option selections: single select vs multi select
  • Text selections: single line vs paragraph
