Over the weekend a significant number of spam posts were added to our Community. As such, some of you may have received multiple email notifications from our platform linking to these posts due to your Community subscription preferences. We can assure you that no account information has been compromised.

Our team is investigating this matter as we speak. We're happy to report this is a not a widespread issue and only a limited number of customers were affected. If you are one of those customers, we thank you for your patience and understanding as we look into this incident. Please ignore/delete these notifications from your email inbox.

Needless to say, this morning was a very confusing one to log into work with 150+ emails from the community🤪

Are there any measures that were or will be put in place to ensure that something similar doesn't happen again in the future?

Is there any information you can provide us with these measures? I think we are all curious to know how this will be prevented in the future. 

I noticed when I make a post there's a notification for "Post pending approval" something along those lines - is this one of the measures? How long does it stay in this state and should we be getting notified if/when our post gets approved or if it gets rejected?

Any insight you can give will bright clarity and reassurance :)

Hi folks! 

We want to provide you with a quick update regarding the spam incident. While Wrike had a spam filter in place at the time of the incident, we are actively working to enhance its operation to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future. In the meantime, as an added precaution, we've temporarily introduced manual moderation for all Community content. This measure will remain active until our spam filter enhancements are complete.
