Is there a way to remove the Ctrl+K shortcut?
Hello all,
while I'm pretty sure, that the Ctrl+K command is a useful feature for Wrike desktop app users, as a browser app user it's a tiny bit frustrating. I'm using Microsoft Edge (the 2nd most used browser on desktop appliances) and in Edge Ctrl+K is the shortcut to duplicate a tab.
So, I want to know, is there any way I can change the standard hotkey settings in Wrike? The changes were done more than 6 months ago and I still haven't gotten used to it...
For example, when I'm out here, comparing two tasks - which happens a lot as a project & account manager - I usually duplicate the tab to stay where I am in the original tab and look for the content, that I need to double check, within the new tab.
How did that work prior to the new Hotkeys?
Ctrl+K -> Click on folder -> Click on Project -> Click on Task -> Put both tabs side by side -> compare
How does it work now, since October 2023 (a slightly dramatized reenactment)
Ctrl+K -> get confused that either nothing happens or a seemingly random feature pops up -> hit Ctrl+K again out of muscle memory -> remember, that I can not use that shortcut (which I use in all other browser based apps) -> move to tab bar -> right click on it -> search "duplicate tab" from the dropdown -> sigh frutrated -> find the option -> click it -> and now, finally, Click on folder -> Click on Project -> Click on Task -> Put both tabs side by side -> compare
Okay, it is not a big issue compared to other changes within the last few months (or, worse, the dreadful day list view will be gone), but it is a recurring nuisance and I'd be very happy to know, if there is something I can do about it :)
Thanks a lot in advance!
