Roundtable Question: Time Tasks/Issues/Tickets Spent in Status
Hello everyone!
Back again with details on another question asked during the roundtable. We had discussion about seeing how long particular issues, tickets, tasks spend in a specific workflow status.
I certainly see this often with the above use cases (i.e. one customer I've worked with desired this for audit/compliance reports). But this can also be a really effective metric when analyzing your project team's tasks.
As mentioned during the call, this is available as part of our Wrike Analyze platform. In fact, there's even a template to get you started: Productivity Analysis. To install:
- Navigate to your respective space and click the + under tools to build a new tool
- Select analytics board option
- Choose "Productivity analysis" from the template options
Once installed, you'll see some few different ideas on how to see the time an item spend in status:
- Charts that show the average time tasks are spent in status to help identify global workflow status issues.
- # of status changes to see the common status movements within your environment
- Task Time in Status Details where you can see the specific time spent by days in a table format for each task, each status.
