Automations : Custom Field Date as Action

In the realm of automation, while we currently utilize dates as triggers, there's an opportunity to enhance functionality by incorporating dates as actionable elements as well.

Introducing a feature where users can modify the date of a custom field in response to triggers such as status changes would significantly enhance usability. When a trigger event occurs, the system can prompt the user to specify the relevant date to be associated with the custom field.

By implementing this feature, users would be prompted to input dates into custom fields, thereby ensuring that crucial date-based data is consistently captured. This standardized data input would greatly facilitate analysis and decision-making processes downstream.

SV -a path on this is. If you have a triggering event.. aka status change, status not changing, new item created, location change, etc, you have an action to Notify users (assignee, followers, owners, authors, approvers, or specific user/groups) through the "Add Comment or Mention" action.

Another path is being able to create an action that updates a custom date field based on a formula. This doesn't exist in wrike, but if you are looking for that, please upvote it here https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/21469783030167-Automation-Action-Change-Custom-Field-Dates
