Automation rule to create a checklist
Our empoyees use a request form to submit a task that usually contains a list of different items in its description. Is there a way to create an automation rule that will make a checklist from this list of items once the task is created? Right now, we are editting the description of every task individually, which is a bit ineffective.

I think you could probably use a multi-select custom field to have the employee submit the data in the request form and then map the data to where you need it to go with the dynamic request form.
Or if each selection is a task that needs to be completed, the request form can be used to create tasks for each selected item.
There's definitely a way to automate this, I think I'll need a little bit more info on what you are trying to do.
The request form looks like this. It's a paragraph becouse the answer usually contains more than one line of test. The answer shows in the description and text custom field.
When submitting the request form, our employees write down a list of building material and items they want to order.
I would like to find a way to automaticaly create a checklist in description once our employee submitts the request. This way it would be easier to track which items from the list were already prepared.
A multi-select custom field will make it easier to enter the data, but it won't make a checklist in the description.
Each selected item could create a separate task that needs to be completed. Then you could assign each task to people and they could check it off when purchased.
