Automating Custom Fields to Blueprints

Please allow custom fields to pre-populate when using a blueprint. Example, we have various internal departments that we work with, and it would be really helpful for that custom field (department) to populate from the initial entry form when the customer enters it.  Right now, we have to manually add in the department for each individual task and sub-task to tag that custom field in the project generated by the blueprint.  Thank you!
