Team Plan vs Business Plan

Dear Wrike Team,

Please offer the Business Plan for teams of 2 or more people OR add the folder function to the Team Plan.

As a consultant who helps startups get more organized and planful, I want them to get started using Wrike as soon as they possibly can. However, if they don't' have 5 people on their team yet it is hard to convince them to pay for 2-3 extra seats of the Business Plan. To repeat, they are willing to pay a higher price for the plan but not for extra seats they don't have people for yet - which makes perfect sense. Yet, the differences in the features of the Business vs Team Plan are such that a company would have to restructure their workspaces once they are on the Business Plan. For some reason, you offer the folder feature in the Free Plan and then remove it in the Team Plan - this means that growing companies might have to restructure their workspaces 3 times within a year as they grow. This is unnecessarily frustrating for your clients and creates a bad experience without benefiting Wrike in any way.

Please note that the folder feature - paired with the ability to have tasks in multiple folders, makes Wrike a uniquely incredibly powerful tool that organizes knowledge, far exceeding the project management function. Not having this feature in the Team Plan severely limits the use of Wrike for things like team documentation storage, using Wrike for cross-functional projects, and especially for use by agency and consulting firms that might be managing multiple company's projects even with just 1-3 people on the team. This one essential feature being accessible earlier to companies has tremendous benefits to a company's growth. For a growing team this means reaching the revenue and headcount goals much faster and having that 5th person on earlier. Not giving a smaller team an option to use folders seems like insanity.

I'm an absolutely raving fan of Wrike. This is the only complaint in my 5 years and 4 company wide implementations of Wrike that I've lead that I've gotten frustrated with the program. I'm happy to explain and demonstrate exactly how and why having this feature is essential to a great Wrike set up and how drastically it changes the experience of searching for information and knowledge. I can make a strong case that this choice made by Wrike's leadership will have negative long-term effects on Wrike's brand through the customer experience. My interactions with multiple customer service and onboarding specialists from Wrike has proven that this is a common complaint - they are aware of it and hear about it often from clients. Please remedy this soon.

Thank you for your consideration.

Yes, yes yes. We noticed this when transitioning from the Free Plan and it resulted in having to completely re-organize everything from folder to project structure. Please take note of this comment - it applies perfectly to an early stage startup such as ours.

Likewise what's blocking us is that we can only use 2 maybe 3 seats to start but we need a few features that aren't listed in the Team plan to make switching to Wrike make sense: most of all folder hierarchy, approvals, and guest approvals are a threshold. File proofing would also put it over the top.   As a small team, it doesn't make numbers sense for us to pay for 2 or 3 seats we can't use and at a higher price, at least to start.
