Form Auto-Alphabetizing Request

Hi There, my team is facing an immense user issue. When adding a new title to the request form, Wrike does not automatically place these titles in alphabetical order, thus making us have to drag and drop the title manually to where is belongs on the  form (alphabetically).

What used to take 5 minutes to drag and drop it into the current list of titles, now takes 30+ mins.

As Creative Producers and a Coordinator for the Creative Producers, we have to update Wrike on a daily basis with new titles, so this is causing a huge delay in the request form process and workflow.

If there is a way to create a function (for both the desktop and app version) that automatically alphabetizes this maneuver, this would eliminate our current waiting time and dramatically increase our productivity in Wrike.

Thanks so much!

Hi Ani Rodriguez,

can you share some screenshots about your title. I don't understand your issue.

Hi Pierto!

Please see my screenshot below, I have a screen recording too if I am able to upload that anywhere?

It's the maneuver while under request forms - in editing mode.

Hi Ani!

As far as I know, it is not possible to do this automatically.
However, if you use a custom field as entries in your multiple selection, it maintains the order of the values entered in it. So it might be easier to rearrange them. 🤷🤷

Hi Pietro and Juan, thanks for your insight here. I will share the recommendation to use a custom field to maintain the order of values entered in with my team. Hopefully this helps a bit!

Quick follow up - is there any way we can increase the speed of the drag and drop? Right now, to move a title, it is very very slow to do so.

Hey Ani Rodriguez, could you please specify where you're trying to move a title?

Hi Lisa,

Would you be able to hop on a Webex call tomorrow so someone from my team and I can show where this move is taking place on Wrike?

Thanks so much!
Ani
