What are the implications of setting a collaborator role as internal

Hello,

under Account Management - User types - Limited Licesen, I can see the option to "set role as an internal user".

I understand it has something to do with sharing of information but can someone please explain this in more detail? Keen to understand this before turning it on.

Thank you!

Hi Kerstin Johnson! This should apply to collaborators in your account - you can make those users internal users through that setting. Please note that internal users take up seats in your account, unlike collaborators.

Thanks Lisa. So what is the difference between making them internal users or not apart from internal users taking up a seat in the account?

Bringing this back up because I have been looking for the answer as well.  Is the only difference between internal or not is it takes up a seat?  There must be more to it, otherwise why would you need that setting?

Thanks
