[Launched! ๐] Bring back the Undo/Redo in Table View
I often use the Undo CTRL-Z commend to undo work in Old Table View. Now, I can't undo with the keyboard, nor are there the Undo/Redo buttons at the top of the screen. Yet more loss of useful functionality in this Lightspeed rollout, I don't understand it.ย
Hi Sara Snuggs, thanks for raising and I have good news to share!ย
The team does indeed plan to add this back and will be working on it shortly. As soon as we have news to share on it we'll let you know.
I'm sorry you've been frustrated with the experience. Flagging these issues with us is super helpful and it allows us to address any gaps that may have occurred as we work to evolve the platform. Thank you again for sharing and please keep the feedback coming our way ๐

Any update on this?ย Keep getting questions from the team on this in trying to bring them up to speed and having a difficult time selling them on some on the product, especially when basic functionality goes away with an "update".
Hey Loren Markle, the undo button is planned to be released for the New Table view, but we don't have an ETA at the moment. We'll keep you posted.ย

Hi,
Is there any update on an ETA of the undo function coming back?ย It is very frustrating to not have it when building new blueprints and timelines!
Thanks
Hi folks, apologies for the delay here. We don't have an ETA at the moment, but we've made sure to pass your feedback here to the responsible team and we'll let you know as soon as we have news!ย

The return of this Undo function in Table view is sorely missed. I don't understand how it can take so long - the Undo function is there within Gantt view !!!
I try not to be too hasty when deleting, however.................very annoying, and time wasting

Hello Nigel McLean, welcome to the Community. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, I've passed it on to our relevant team ๐
Please, rest assured that we will keep you informed of any changes. Don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

How can this major basic feature be taken away and then not returned for months? Honestly makes me consider using a different tool
Hi Jack Skinner, welcome to the Community. I'm sorry to hear this is causing issues to you and your team, please rest assured that we will let you know as soon as this feature is implemented. At the moment, the option to undo a change will appear at the top of the screen immediately after you have, for instance, deleted a task:
I understand this is not the option you're looking for and, as stated before, we will keep you updated as soon as we're informed of any improvements.
If there's anything else we can help you with, please let us know.ย
I have already alerted my rep that we will be ending our use of Wrike over this, but I want to communicate to your Product Management what removing "undo" functionality means in reality.ย
You are effectively telling your user base - you better not make a mistake, and you better hope our app/browser doesn't encounter an issue, because it's now your job to go and rectify it. I think every Wrike user will agree we have for a long time had to defend Wrike to our teams for its inconsistency in correctly and consistently performing actions - that is the nature of software, and I think Wrike's more advanced features have justified that. But if we can't return to a previous state - after an "upgrade" - then it is basically untrustworthy. For a product that positions itself as the beating heart of your company it really is shocking for a product to lose base functionality that is available nearly everywhere else. What this communicates to your user base is: we have an unwieldy code base, we do not understand our users, and we are willing to take advantage of your trust and put you at risk. It is product management 101. Did you all ask any of your real users what losing this functionality would mean? There's a bad habit of product and dev teams to work in a bubble and rationalize how losing some dumb small thing such as "command-z" will be totally worth dark/light mode. Stop looking down on your users. We're lucky enough to not be in so deep that we don't have options, but you are costing your customers hours and hours of time with this issue. Wake up.
Hello Jack Skinner, I'm deeply sorry to learn that this issue has had such a negative impact on you and your team. I hope this news doesn't arrive too late: our Product Team has confirmed that they plan to implement this feature very soon, ideally by May.
I understand that your comment isn't only about this suggestion, but I hope this situation can serve as an example of how we work with feedback: all your comments are passed on to our Product Team. The team does its utmost to prioritize the most impactful features. In some cases, this process may take longer than we would prefer, and unfortunately, not all suggestions can be prioritized or implemented.
Moreover, I'd like to add that according to our Product Feedback guidelines, an idea must receive at least 60 votes to be assigned a public status. Currently, this suggestion has 22. However, in this instance, the Product Team considered the fact that this option was available in the previous version of the Table view. Additionally, all the feedback shared on this thread was a powerful indicator of the importance of this feature.
As always, if you have any additional questions, we're here to help.
seriously......I just three hours of work do to a lack of undo in table view. Who has an app without UNDO?ย This is like saying you built a car and then went back and took away the brakes.......
Name me one other enterprise or mid-market app for ANYTHING that does not have undo.ย
Hi Dave Uselton, welcome to the Community ๐ We expect that the undo button will be back in May ๐

It is May 21. Is there an ETA on this? I've spent several hours recreating successor dates because of a simple mistake I made on a predecessor task in Table view that I couldn't undo. It is beyond infuriating.
Hi Heather Mullen, welcome to the Community! Sorry for the delayed reply, I was checking this situation with the Product Team and I'm happy to announce that the undo/redo button is back!
More updates to share about this release very soon ๐
