Task Description with Navigation headers
This would be helpful for our team to have navigation available in the body or description of the task using the headers so that we don’t have to scroll through the whole task description.
With navigation, you can simply tab through the table of contents to jump to the specific part of the task.
This would help our migration from other software
to Wrike for certain projects.
Hi Tig McKenzie, welcome to the Community! Thank you very much for sharing this suggestion with us, it's definitely an interesting one and I have passed it on to our Product Team 👍 You can learn more about how we process feedback in this article.
Also, feel free to visit our New to Community forum to get the most out of your experience with our Community 🙂
Thank you! We'd love to have this feature added in Wrike!
Any news here in the meantime?
This is a feature that's HEAVILY missing and would speed up working with tasks extremely.
Please also be aware that other tools do offer this feature since a very long time, e.g. Notion.
Hope this will SOON be considered and implemented! One of the most important features missing
Hi Michael - glad you are also keen on this idea! Agree it is an important feature and currently difficult to navigate in the description in Wrike.
Thank you for supporting this idea Michael Pucher 👍 Please rest assured that your feedback has been noted. We will keep you informed if we have any updates about this feature.
Thanks Juan and Michael for supporting this suggestion!
Hi Juan,
Any updates on this feature? The headers in the task description do not add any functionality. Descriptions can be long and would be helpful to have navigation in the description of the task when headers are added. Thanks!
No updates currently Tig McKenzie, but I'm sending your additional feedback to the responsible team now 👍

Hi Lisa, has this feature been in the works? Echoing the others' sentiments—the inclusion of navigation headers would solve a tremendous pain point many teams face at the moment. I noticed several other community posts about the same issue, with multiple upvotes. Hoping it can be implemented sometime in the near future!
I would love to see this update, it would be very beneficial for our team's use.

For me just a native TOC block that we can add and that just #links to the below headings would be more than sufficient. Every CMS-System has this in the meantime. Maaany project and note taking tools provide such a feature as well. So this is still HEAVILY missing, since nearly 2 years now. Shouldn't be so difficult to implement. Technically it's just:
1) Element for TOC which can just be placed at the top of a task if needed
2) Give all headings unique ID's (and I assume they already do have, not checked in code inspector)
3) Add headings to TOC element
4) Add "scroll-to-#-links" to headings in TOC element
This is a 1/2 day job ... doing this all the time in web development ...
Thank you very much for your feedback, Michael Pucher. We regularly check for updates with our Product Managers, so we'll keep you posted if there are any developments. 👍🏽
