Lightspeed - Extra Steps in the User Journey
The previous home page provided a remarkably clear and straightforward approach to access dashboards, timesheets, and spaces. However, with the latest update, Lightspeed has introduced additional clicks for users to access these features. This seems contradictory to the concept of "lightspeed" as it actually elongates the path to reach the desired destination.
While experienced users may be aware that Dashboards can be accessed from Spaces, the previous clear landing page made navigation much easier for everyone.
Moreover, it's unclear how to deactivate the Lightspeed feature and revert to the previous version. If anyone could assist with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
I totally agree Nathan. I hate this new interface, and would love to revert back to having a home page. Mine just upgraded this week and I have yet to see any befits and am honestly loosing my mind. Do better Wrike.
Agreeing here as this is completely opposite of lightspeed. The previous homepage was user friendly while this homepage causing many additional clicks to find things.
Hi folks, thanks a lot for your feedback!
I understand that the Home page, while being used by a small number of users, was a useful tool for some. That's why we updated the left navigation panel - you can customize your tools menu to have Timesheets and Dashboards easily accessible and move spaces up and down in the list depending on how often you need to open them. You can also pin projects, folders, reports, and dashboards to have quick access to them.
I hope this is helpful!

Hi Lisa,
Still feels like way more clicks than required to access these things..
Nathan Lane If you add Dashboards to the main menu under your Inbox, it will be one click to access them. Or do you mean something else?

HI Lisa,
Thank you for getting back to me as always :-)
I understand the approach you've outlined for incorporating Dashboards into the main menu. Regarding its integration into the menu, does this apply universally to all accounts on our plan? Revisiting my initial inquiry, proficient users will likely be familiar with accessing this area, while new or less experienced users might not instinctively discover this functionality. In contrast, on the homepage, these actions were prominently displayed to users without requiring any personalization.
I understand what you mean Nathan Lane. You're right that regular users may need some additional training on this, as this menu is customizable on the user level. I'll share your feedback with the respective team for sure 👍
