Viewing all active work in a space in one view (projects and tasks)
We have both projects and stand alone tasks that come in as requests. We have spaces by department. I need a way to see all active work in one view for a space. I can't find a way to show BOTH the active projects along with the active (stand alone) tasks that have been requested. All the filters seem to show only one or the other but not BOTH together and that does not work for me. Anyone else have this issue? Using tools our collaborators do not use as options for viewing is not appropriate such as side by side widgets on dashboards... need a clean, simple to read view. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Hi Terry Winowiski,
I understand that you like to see active projects an tasks together in one view. But every project should contain at least one tasks, or more. So if you create a filter that displays all active tasks, the one assgined to projects would appear also. Projects are, like folders, a tool to manage a bunch of tasks. For a mixed view of folders/projects and tasks you could try a table view, for example. Would this meet your requirements?

Hi, you must be getting this request a lot. I've seen it on other threads as well. As an admin, I am repeatedly asked for a view that shows all work (Projects and Tasks) assigned to a user, and I cannot easily do this within a table view in a folder.
Hi Christin Engstrom, thanks for reaching out 👋
I'd recommend using filters in the Table view. You can click on the "Add more filters" option and then pick the project owner you'd like to report on for project filters and assignee for tasks:
I hope this helps!
