get Inbox message about specical tasks

Hi,

is there any possibility to get information in the Inbox or by mail about anything what happens in a special task?

I know that a lot of info is going to the Inbox for all tasks and I can also configure mail notifications for tasks.

But I have some tasks which are especially important. So I can star them, ok. But what about getting a message everytime something happens in these special tasks (so as it is possible for mail configuration for taks I follow, but then for starred tasks)?

Is there any other possibility to mark a task as especially important so I get a message if something changes?

If I understand correctly, you'd like to customize the notifications you receive on a specific task.
 
Currently, the best way to do it is to follow the task. Besides following and email notifications, I can suggest you mark those tasks as high-importance and create a dashboard widget to easily follow them.
 
Another option can be to use Wrike's Automation Engine - you can create a folder for these specific tasks, and then create rules for tasks in that folder. These automations allow the execution of various actions within the tasks. For example, you can create a rule that would trigger a message with an @mention when a task's status changes or when it doesn't change in X days.
 
You can create new automation rules by navigating to your profile, then Settings, and clicking 'Automation' on the left panel. From the Automation section, you can create a new rule.

the problem with following a task is that I follow a lot of tasks, as every task assigned to me hat the follow activated. I want only for me very important tasks to give me a message.

A dashboard is a possibility, but that would inflict all perople if you make it like this. So I am not asking only for me but also fo colleagues looking fo such possibility. So if i make a dashboard and filter for importance the tasks I follow it would be a solution for me, if nobody else uses the same trick. As soon as I want to closely monitor other tasks as a colleague and we both work on the same things this system breaks.

The automation engine is the same. Also a drawback is that for automation engine you need to be admin. Automation engine is in my understanding something for rules we are now programming via API in a more simpe way, but nothing for individual users.

So the suggestions are not completely what I am looking for, as I would really like to give all team members the possibility to choose the high important tasks and to activate some kind of messaging only for these tasks.

Can I suggest another method that could be useful in this case?
 
It's to create a private folder and color code it to use as a tag for the important tasks. After creating the folder with tasks, you can create a dashboard widget only including tasks from that folder.
 
This way it could be easier to track and find them while keeping them private.

Cansu that is not really a way. It is not about keeping anything private. Also we do not allow to tag tasks as private if they belong to a project because in a private space you can delete tasks and this is not allowed for our co-workers as we do not want to loose any tasks.

What I really need is a possibility to get a message which I can personalize for a specific task, like "For task XY please send me a message as soon as something happens in the task", while for an other task I need no messages (we use dashboards to have a daily look to our tasks).
