Add Portfolios above Projects
Right now projects exist inside of folders that cannot have custom fields or show up in reports, but often times we find that our projects are with particular clients that we would like to report on their overarching work. This seems like an area where Wrike could improve. Add Portfolios as a level above Projects that gives you one more level of reporting, and more level for Custom Fields to help make sense of projects at the portfolio level.
Hi Will Kerr, thank you for posting this suggestion! I'm passing it on to our Product team now 👍
Do I understand correctly that for now, you're using folders to group projects? It's also possible to have parent projects to group projects in it - can this help while a new grouping level isn't available?

AHA! we are currently using folders, but didn't really think of using Projects inside of projects. Since we track portfolios differently than we do Projects, there may be some hoops to jump through to make that work, but it's definitely something we will switch over to using in the mean time. Thanks for the suggestion as well!
Thank you for getting back to me Will Kerr 😊 I hope that this will help - please let me know how it goes!

I set it up, and it definitely works, so I thank you, but it's not quite as organized as we'd like - it would be nice to have portfolio-level workflows, custom fields and so on, so that everything is fairly simple to set up and work with. I do hope that the feature becomes something that can happen. Making a different space for each client would making reporting difficult, and using Projects adds more manual process to the set up. Thanks for your help! I really do appreciate the interim solution to the problem.
