Disabling Assignee changes when using Email integration
Hi team,
Recently had an idea to use e-mail integration to make it easier for my team to include threads in Wrike. Picking up the task email then plugging it into email chains had great potential. Plug in once, and every reply would just go right into the task and everyone would be kept updated as the conversation continued.
Only problem with this approach is that whenever someone who had ability to change Assignees would reply, it would mess the task up, changing Assignees. All we need is the visibility, we don't need any settings in the task to change. So ideally, I'd like the ability to turn that functionality off.

This should be an opt-in feature, not an opt-out, and definitely should not be out of our control.
Disappointing that suggestions like this languish on the forums for years with no action.
This is a very frustrating feature- is there still not an option to turn off task assignments changing when adding comments via email?

I just discovered this functionality and was looking for a way around it. I have learned that putting the email recipients in the CC field of the email prevents them from being assigned in the task. Would prefer not to have to remember to do that since that is not standard email best practice.
