How to get your sub task to show your Projects name?
When tasks get assigned to me and show up on my dashboard, they show each individual subtask which could be the same sub task across multiple projects. (This gets confusing). How can we view it as the whole project vs only showing the subtasks?
Hi!
In your widget make sure that option "show folders name" is active, it can help you if you have a structure with folders/project.
And when you see folder name, you can see full path by mouse over
Othewise you can change the method of naming tasks, including the name of the project on the task.
Pietro Poli If the tasks come from a blueprint, would you need to copy and paste each project name to each blueprint task then? I would love to have the project name flip places with the task name
Hi Kari Ticoulet,
you can add a Prefix when you create task from a blueprint.
Just fill this field
I understand that hovering on my dashboard over the task location will display the full path of the task. I would like the fields list to have the option to turn on or off the project name associated with each task. Including the project name in each task makes the names too lengthy, so I would prefer to see only the project name instead of the task location. This change would also allow me to sort all my tasks by project name.
