Desktop Notification in Windows 10 app
I am following folders and tasks and would like to receive a notification when a collaborator adds a comment. I currently use the Wrike Windows 10 desktop app and, after chatting with customer support, they suggested I add a feature request...so here it is!!
This would be extremely helpful for people using the desktop application and not the web application.
Not having notifications in the Wrike Desktop app makes it unusable for me. It seems like this should have been included in some of the first versions of the app. Please add this as I really want to be able to use the app.
Please add desktop notifications.
+1
This is one point that is currently in favor of the browser version of Wrike. Please add desktop notifications to the app.
Same as comments above. Desktop notifications would be really usefull.
I'm a notification-junkie and I like to follow folders and tasks to be up to date. But, I always looking for ways to reduce the amount of mail to my inbox. So notifications would be really, really good.
Tnx!
Удивительно, но windows-приложение не уведомляет о написании комментария, даже если есть @упоминание. Пожалуйста, добавьте уведомлния!

I agree, I've found it difficult to reconcile my notifications in my Wrike inbox and in my email inbox. My strong preference is to limit the notifications in my inbox and be alerted via desktop notification instead.
It would be helpful to have project based desktop notifications, in addition to task based notifications. Not all teams work using tasks. It would be much more convenient having a notification option on the app - otherwise, what is the point of using it over the browser version.
Agreed! I would really like to have desktop notifications over email notifications.
the windows desktop app shows pop up notifications but they dont stay in the notification center and you cant click on them to go to the task/comment. this is big time.
Hi Nate Wintringer, thanks for your input.
Indeed, currently, pop-up notifications are not "cached" in the Notification sidebar. I totally share your opinion that a unified experience with other Windows desktop apps is essential. Our engineers are investigating how we can improve this, but we can't guarantee that this will be implemented soon since, from a technical point of view, it's a complex task. I assure you that we keep it on the radar.
With this being said, I have noticed that you have already reported this directly to Support in December last year. Thank you for being so proactive!🙌
Thanks Lisa, perhaps like other headless browser desktop apps (slack) they could offer windows notifications and native notifications in the short term and allow the headless browser to display a pop up notification as a stop gap? It might be easier to implement.
Thanks for your idea, Nate Wintringer. I agree that an alternative way to control desktop notifications would be helpful too, be sure to create a post about this in the Product Feedback section. This way, other Community members can discuss your idea and share their suggestions. Your input is invaluable to our Product team!🤝
