How to add a time field to a request form

Hi, when designing a form there seems to be no possibility of inputting a start time. So if I make a "request photographer" form, I can easily add the date, but not the time? I must be missing something, can anyone help?

Hi Mathieu, thanks for your question and welcome to the Community 🙌

Currently, you can only add the date field on your Request forms, but not the start time in hours and minutes. It's a good idea so I'll move this post to the Product Feedback section so any other members looking for a similar feature can vote it. This way our Product Team will be made aware of the suggestion too. 

I understand the below solution is not exactly what you're looking for (as it won't automatically update the scheduled duration of the task) though it gives you the information in the resulting task as a reference.

  • The person filling out the form can specify the time the task by using a short text field. See the below example I created. This will give you a reference time specified by the requester.

Thanks for your answer. I guess I'll live with it, but it seems like a silly oversight considering all the sophistication build around your forms!!!

Any chance this can get on the roadmap? Having a time entry field for intake forms would be a great addition. Using the short text field, while a viable option, isn't an elegant solution in any way.

One up for us on for this! I'm using a number field to capture hours so I can calculate, but being able to map to an existing duration custom field would be much better.
