    Here I am going crazy bc I want to share the timeline with our agency and low and behold I find out that it's a disabled feature.

    For us it's a nice to have, but certainly not as valuable as other features. Actually I think the enhancements they just made to the timeline are way more valuable. I'm assuming this feature will get turned back on.

    Hi everyone, I don't have a date to share, but Timeline Snapshot is something that is on our team's roadmap and which they plan on adding to the new Timeline. 

    @Jeff You're definitely not going crazy. At least not about this. 

    @Jack The old Timeline did have Timeline Snapshot, would you like a team member to reach out about this?

    Hello,

    Yep, same here being able to share timeline and display them on a Confluence page is crucial for the teams and was one of the main reason we choose Wrike instead of another tool...

    Bring it back please!!!

    Agree with @Pascal. 

    During our trial, a tech support staff at Wrike reverted us to the old Timeline.  Is that option still available?

    Not to labor the point that others have already made here, but since wrike doesn't offer a true timeline export (say to MSP) this feature was the only way to share a timeline with stakeholders. Currently having to use snipping tool to screenshot the timeline, which is a little embarrasing...

    Are we to expect this feature back any time soon?

    Hi guys, this is on the short-term roadmap, I just don't have an exact date to share. The team knows how important this is though and we'll make sure to tell you as soon as it's back.

    @Tim, yes you can still go to Wrike Labs to enable the old Timeline.

    Fantastic news, thank you for the update.  If whilst you are looking at this we could add being able to expand and collapse (same functionality as the main timelines), this would be a great feature.  Thanks for all your hard work behind the scenes.

    new here, just using Wrike for first time today trying to develop highlevel roadmap.  So, am I to understand there is no way to currently print the timeline?  Do we have to take screenshots?  thanks for any help.

    Thanks for the update. Good to hear this is a priority for the dev team. I really miss it. We survive in such chaos, sending the timeline to clients gives them something to hold on to and relax.

    I want to emphasize that this is also for us a big disadvantage not to share the timeline with our customers which got used to it in the past. Our management is starting to think to switch to a competitor of wrike, as this is a must. Please, make this a top priority in your development! To switch to the old timeline is not a solution. And also please add along with it the possibility to export the timeline to a picture format. Sometimes this is even handier.

    We will switch soon too, more than 2 months is way to much!

    It was already hard to convince people to use a new great tool which is Wrike, then now we're saying that great tool has updated and we can no longer timeline feature...

    Just wanted to add to those who need some kind of workaround in the meantime: if you right click the timeline view and select 'view' or 'save image' you can get a cleaner picture of the timeline without having to worry about messy borders and other stuff with screenshots

    I agree with Urs' comments.  This has to be added back in.  I bought based on this functionality that I could share with my clients on projects we are running on their behalf.  With this gone, it is just creating extra work for me to do some type of work around now.  

    How do you release a new timeline and not have it 100% compatible with previous features or at least proven replacement features that give a similar capability?

    Seriously? Guys, you need to remove this from your demo video if it's not available.

    We were just about to sign up, with this being a large reason why we felt Wrike was stronger than a lot of the other platforms that we'd trialled. 

    Can I get an update on where we're at with this, please?

    Just echoing Simon's statements that it's simply false advertising. After working with the trial version and watching every single tutorial video, I mentioned the feature twice at a meeting before testing, trusting that the feature existed.

    @Stephanie How long is the "short term" road map?  This thread is over 4 months since start and no commitment to fix.  Don't understand why Wrike isn't actively fixing something they obviously made a choice to break and upset a large portion of their customer base.

    Agree as well. This issue has to be finally taken care of. It seems as nothing has happend since. If we would take care of our customers and their complaints the same way, we would be soon out of business. We have many complaints from our partners, which were used to use this feature in the past. Hence: More work time for us and an annoyed staff asking for updates on this feature.

    Hi all, quick update! The team is planning on releasing some enhancements to the Timeline soon, and this includes Snapshots. I'll have more information in the coming weeks.
