Are there any updates on this thread?
My team would really like the functionality to reply all - meaning, when I click reply all, all of the people previously @tagged in the task are @tagged in my new comment.
Hey Anna Schild, thank you for this feedback! It's been passed on to the Product team.
The team are still interested in exploring this suggestion, but there are no plans to add this to the short-term roadmap. As soon as I have another update for you all, I'll let you know.
Hi Hugh,
I would like to emphatically endorse the need for the Reply All option on comments. Our team uses @mentioning to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders that can change throughout the lifecycle of an individual task and having the ability to reply all to comments will ensure that the targeted group of a specific comment will be informed when a response is provided.
Thank you!
Hi Todd Vanecko, and welcome to the Community!
Thank you for sharing your use case here. I don't have an update at the moment, but if there are any changes, I'll be sure to let you know.
Flip I don't know if I have missed something - but its 2022 and this feature seems like a no-brainer to implement - its so frustrating having to add individual names to a reply when you are busy. At work we also have banned @followers because it just creates chaos - as the project unfolds you add or subtract people on the comment depending on the input that they need to give. Because we use it a lot if we @followers all the time our inboxes would be a mess. Hope you guys decide to roll with this one.
thanks
Hi Christopher Chappé, welcome to the Community, and thank you for posting.
This suggestion remains a backburner for now but the team clearly understands the demand for this functionality. There is potential for this idea to be implemented further down the line, so we will be sure to keep you posted here on any changes.
Thank you for your support of this suggestion. If there's anything else we can help with here, please do let us know.
Wanted to add my support to the need for this functionality. It's been requested since 2018 with over 100 upvotes so it's surprising it hasn't been implemented yet. When replying to a comment, I'd like there to be an option to "reply all" to the previous people @ commented in the prior message. If there names could all be brought in to the new comment, people could then add or subtract from there.
For example:
@Lauren this is ready for proofreading, please pass to @suz when you are finished. (CC: @Paul @Alex. Reply all from Lauren: @Suz @Paul @Alex this is complete - @sam you can make these edits now.
Thanks in advance for any update!
Thank you for the detailed feedback and for bumping this thread Lauren McClain PTO 12.24-26, 1.1-2! I'll know pass it on to our team 👍

I've had a couple of folks from my Wrike team that are asking for this feature as well. Still a relevant and desired addition to the platform.
Thanks for supporting here Mike Fank!

This function would be so extremely helpful resulting in more efficiency, when is it coming?
Would be much appreciated!
Hey folks, we don't have updates on the reply all feature in comments at the moment; I'm sending your feedback to the responsible team now 👍

Hi Lisa - I know you mentioned you have sent our feedback to the responsible team. Is there any update on when this feature might be implemented? My VP just asked me about this again today. Seems like this is low-hanging fruit for your dev team to implement and please a number of your users. Just wanted to express our continuing desire for this feature.

This really should be added. Manually adding people already in the conversation is a huge waste of time and people do get omitted accidentally. Dev team should prioritize this basic function. No excuses.
Hi Marvin Bowen, thank you for sharing your feedback and supporting this idea. While there aren’t any updates at the moment, we’ll be sure to let you know if anything changes in the future.

Eight years after the initial request, this is still a necessary feature. You can't even cut and paste the @'s from a previous post. It is very time consuming when there are multiple comments.
Our organization also needs the reply all feature
Thank you, Carrie Kittrell and Megan Zeik for sharing your feedback. I understand your concerns and will check with the Product Team for any updates or developments. As soon as we have any news, we’ll share it here.

To add to the developer request for more use cases on this request...
1) To echo Samir, we also have project teams with varied levels of engagement. Discussions around key decisions often do not require the ENTIRE team's contribution, but certainly more than two people.
For example, a project team typically consists of a project director (PD), a project manager (PM), several analysts, and various associates. The PD is only brought in for final decision-making, and the associates are only included in the final decision. Depending on the size of the project, one or more analysts may be leading a workstream, reporting to the PM. It doesn't make sense to create 3-5 groups within a single project and then try to remember which user is in which group. It is common for the lead of a different workstream to be included in a conversation to provide context or project continuity. Thus, conversations with 3-4 people are far more common than a one-on-one.
2) We also frequently have changes to the makeup of teams (i.e., changing Associates or Analysts due to vacations, leaves of absence, new hires, etc.). Remembering to update the followers list is tedious and is often overlooked, leaving critical team members out of the loop.
2) MOST IMPORTANTLY - A huge barrier our team has had to using Wrike effectively (or at all) has been transitioning out of email and Teams chat and into Wrike. While leadership loves the reports and dashboards, day-to-day communication and decision-making conversations are still handled in other tools, which causes time-consuming task switching, slows down the workflow, creates wayfinding confusion, and discourages the use of Wrike as the 'go-to' project management tool that it is.
This suggestion pertains to user experience and the 'expected' function of a critical piece of software in a business environment that is measured by the number of hours and minutes, and thus, keystrokes it takes to complete a task. To keep your user in Wrike, add a reply all function.
