Automatically assigned task to the user-performer

Как сделать, что бы пользователи-исполнители видели задачу, но не видели участников, а когда кто то из пользователей-исполнителей брал себе на исполнение, задача автоматически закреплялась за пользователем-исполнителем. Спасибо.

How to make that the users-performers saw the tasks but didn't see the participants, and when someone from users of the performers took his execution, the is automatically assigned task to the user-performer. Thank you.

Users will always be able to see other users tagged on an entry.

By editing the workflow in Account Management → Workflow → select a status and select "Assign on status change," you can have people assigned automatically to that entry with the change of its status. However, even though new people can be automatically assigned to an entry, Wrike doesn't swap users (unassign them) unless you physically do in & unassign a person.

Hey Mark and Julia! @Julia thanks so much for answering this! @Mark, I also wanted to add that you can try to create subtasks specifically for the users who shouldn't see other participants. Everyone else can work on the parent task, but the subtasks will be meant specifically for the assignees or Collaborators. Does this help?

Not a problem, Anastasia! I would have tried to respond in Russian, but never learned to write hahahaha 😃

Another question for you though, if you create a subtask for singled individuals to work on, would you copy the parent task word for word to be the new subtask? How can duplicates be eliminated if numbers are summed up per custom field at the table views?

That's a good question, and I think the answer mainly depends on the info you typically include in the parent task and in the Custom Fields. If the whole parent task is needed for context, then you may need to copy all of that information to the subtasks. If all assignees have different roles, they might need only a portion of that information. In this case, the description can be customized for each case. As for Custom Field values, I'd love to learn a bit more about what you use them for, and how would you get duplicates?

P.S. Can you read Russian? Awesome to see your input here either way! 😎⭐️

Anastasia,

Our custom fields include Company Name, First Name, Last Name, Address, Job Site Type, Construction Phase, Home Sq Ft, Home Value, Equipment Amount, Notes...the ones we need to carry over would be basically all of those from the parent task to the subtasks, minus the Notes field. Notes are all customized based on the entry. But we keep track of the work performed per account, so it would be extremely helpful if the custom data could also be "brought down" without having to copy & paste every single item. Copying & pasting is VERY time consuming.

The doubling happens when the table view sums up the custom field columns. So Home Value, Home Sq Ft, and Equipment Amount is set to sum the total values. But regardless of whether we create a subtask under the parent task for new projects or create a whole new task below the first task, all values are summed, the problem with that is that the values belong to the SAME project, or folder. So this means we have to leave the fields blank, but then it looks like info is missing. And when staff work with individual entries per their assignments, they fill the blanks in because they think the data was just missing, rather than left blank on purpose to avoid the final summation. Then the reports show the sums of all entries rather than one sum per project/or folder.

And I read VERY slowly...literally have to go letter-by-letter 😭 I hate it lol

@Julia Priviet! That's one of the very few words I know 😞.

I know it's been a while, but I just wanted you to know that we read this and do understand the use case. Thank you for the extra details it really helps to know how you guys would need the "roll-down" to work.
