Hi there, the recurring tasks will only show in your Timeline one working day before reoccurring. This was introduced to reduce the clutter in your Workspace.

As a workaround, you could schedule the task for the length of time, a week-long for example, for better visibility, you can also rename the task to make it clear that it reschedules, like, '[Reoccurs weekly] Analytics Report'.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this 👍

Is there any consideration to adding an option to the Recurrence operation to allow the user to manage how many Recurrences are displayed at one time? Some of our users like only having one visible and then the next being visible one business day prior, while others like seeing all they have set up.

Hi Jim, that's not currently possible but I definitely see how this could be useful. It would be great if you could post it to our Product Feedback section. This way other people can vote and discuss the idea and it will be included in our Reports for the Product Team's review.

Thanks for posting! 🙂

I can't even see this option, where can I mark as recurring?

Hi Catalina, I don't think I fully understand your question 😇

Here is a GIF showing where and how to set up a recurrent task - any questions, happy to discuss 🖖

This GIF was very helpful.  I followed the same steps.  The instances of the task show up on the list but my recurring task has sub-task and those did not seem to shows on the recurrence.  Should have the sub-task also show since they are part of the task?

Hi Nerissa, subtasks are part of the Folder's structure but not 'tied' or attached to the parent Task. To make this so, you'll need to tag the Subtask to the Folder/Project you'd like to generate when the recurrence takes place.

For your subtasks:

  1. Click the "+" sign that appears under the task title.
  2. Search for the Folder/Project that the task should be a part of.
  3. Select it from the list.

If you're still having an issue, let me know and I can ask our Support Team to get in touch to help 🖖
