Hi Hannah, welcome to the forums!

Weekends are included as non-working days by default, which means that you can't schedule tasks to start or end on those days (and those days aren't taken into account when calculating the task's duration). When you check the "work on weekends" option, you'll be able to start/end tasks on non-working dates. Can you let me know where the weekend dates are still taken into account for timeframe?

Hello, I resurrect this question because I want to have the same feature.

If my team is not supposed to work on weekends, it would be nice to have the possibility to exclude Sat and Sun from the calendar columns in the Gantt diagram; they are already unused and grey so replacing them with a thin grey line would save space.

Thank you.

@Estee Hey, welcome to the Community 🙂 For now you can only check "work on weekends" at the task or account level. Please check out this thread - @Matt has suggested exactly what you are asking here. Please make sure to upvote the suggestion 👍 It would also be really helpful if you could add your use-case there.

Hi there, I have the same problem. The weekend is actually included as a default meaning I have to exclude the weekend at a task level. I want something global to not include the weekend dates as a work day. Any suggestions??

@Joel Hi, thanks for reaching out here 🙂 As Stephanie mentioned before, weekends are included as non-working days by default, which means that you can't schedule tasks to start or end on those days, and they aren't taken into account when calculating the task's duration. When you check the "work on weekends" option, you'll be able to start/end tasks on non-working dates.
