Changing more than one task or project's custom field at once
Is there a way to change more than one task or project's custom field at once in the list view like you can change tags?

Hi Andrew!
My first comment, the fastest way to edit Custom Fields is in Table view. Like shown in my example below. % Complete is a custom field.
While certainly not the most beautiful solution; you can also export tasks to excel, edit the custom field, and re-import. This will duplicate the tasks.
Hey, Andrew and Patrick! @Andrew thanks for the question and @Patrick, thanks for helping out 🙌 I just wanted to point to an existing feedback thread about this, in case you're interested in popping over there and adding your vote: Mass Update for Custom Fields, and Excel import to Update Tasks.
Hi Anastasia Z,
Please pardon me if I have missed something, but I am trying to understand how the information indirectly linked could be useful.
From what I can tell, using another application (Excel in this case), can produce data duplication. Cleaning up the export/import aftermath might defeat the purpose of the efficient solution one is looking for in the first place.
Additionally, from my limited experience the Wrike backup/restore process is not to be taken lightly, so this solution could be very problematic if any data corruption were to occur.
Hi Patrick, the table view is the most efficient area to do this sort of change.
The list view allows for multiple selections, so I am asking the Wrike Santa to please give us users a feature where custom fields can be changed en mass like folders can.
Happy Holidays!
Hi Andrew, thanks for coming back and for sharing this suggestion - it's a great idea.

Happy Holidays and happy posting! 😊
