Total Float

It’s surprising that float isn’t included in the upcoming plans. Since Wrike already applies the Critical Path Method in its Gantt chart, adding float should be a straightforward extension—this calculation is fundamental to CPM and something project managers learn on day one. Omitting it limits Wrike’s appeal for true project management use and makes it feel more like a scheduling tool than a comprehensive PM platform. This gap, along with a few others, is one of the reasons my company is considering alternative software.

Although there is no new news at the moment, we are monitoring and constantly checking for updates with the relevant team. I'm excited to see if this feature might get enough upvotes that it can earn a status of "Not Planned"! Maybe if there's enough support it could get upgraded to "Status: Backburner?" One can hope!!

OK... so eight years since this question was asked and several months since it was commented on. I am shocked as a new user this is not part of the software. It is very standard items for Project Managers to keep an eye on and how to manage how late a specific task is to becoming part of the critical path.. It absolutely is a hinderance and I never thought so see if it was part of wrike before we purchased pinnicale as it is such a basic function.  Please add this to wrike soon.  please do not make us wait another 8 years.. we wont wait we will migrate to another platform.
