Task Opened from Search Should Open in the Foreground, Not Replace Current Page
One thing that changed recently that is causing some issues, is that when you are in a report, and you search for a task in the search bar, when you click on it, you are taken to a separate full page for that task. But you are taken out of your report.
What used to happen, was that the task you open from search would be brought to the foreground, but the report would remain in the background.
This was better, because then the report is still there and I don't have to re-navigate to reports to open it again.
It would be awesome if you could either a) open searched-for tasks in the foreground again, leaving the report in the background untouched. Or b) default to opening the searched-for task in a new tab.
This feature would help us too! It would significantly improves the overview :)
Yes, i saw that back button [BTW, its the same as using back button from the browser-self], i still agree that
Opening in in the Foreground, is more convinced and efficient, so you shouldn't forget where u left off..
What's interesting; that if u'll hit on the searched task very slight, it'll still come up in foreground..
+1 for bringing back the ability to open the searched task in the foreground
Thanks for your votes and input here guys. I'll make sure it's brought to the Product Team's attention and if I have an update I'll post back here 👍
