Automatic links from SharePoint

I would like to suggest the ability to add links from sharepoint automatically for example instead of having to embed the file directly or copying the link manually from sharepoint for future releases.

Hi Rebecca Palmer, welcome to the Community 👋

Sorry for the late reply! Our team is now working on the SharePoint integration, so great timing! We will announce it on the COmmunity for sure when the time comes, so please stay tuned for the updates.

In regards to upvotes not working - do you mean that you click on the plus button under the post and nothing happens?

I would like to add my request,  similar to  Athena's, that might be an easy way to do this.

A) One uploads a document into Wrike

B) Save to sharepoint option - pushes to a directory in sharepoint from a task or folder

C) Task or folder remembers the task so the next time you hit save to sharepoint,  it's a bit like MS-Word with Save and Save As.

D) Save as allows revving the file name to sharepoint and adds a link in Wrike for the new document.

Since you already allow editing a document in a source editor to update a link, there is really just the create a link step, with a remembered URL path.

Alternate Path / Shiny Object 1

E) Create a "Export to Wrike" Link in sharepoint to the Wrike Directory (Maybe this is done already in Teams?  Doing this through the Teams Wrike plug-in would be fine).  Sharepoint/Teams Plug-in would remember the link for the directory as default for save and/or save as ops when revving docs.  Maybe this whole process is easier via the Teams Plugin.

Shiny Object 2

F) Links with directory tree mapping.  This way either Wrike or Sharepoint reads the directory tree to adjust default locations for Save and Save As.  Not so sure about this one.  Looking ultimately for Single Point Data entry when adding or editing files from Wrike or Sharepoint.  This last one the least important.

Hello,

Lisa Could you tell me if the possibility from idea B) "Save to sharepoint option - pushes to a directory in sharepoint from a task or folder" is under development or available soon in Wrike?

Best Regards

Hi Polto Zespo, welcome to the Community 👋

For now, it's possible to attach files from SharePoint to Wrike. You can read more about the available integration here. At the same time, we continue passing the feedback on SharePoint to our Product team, so thank you for reaching out!
