Outlook Add-in: Installation Failed

I'm trying to install the Wrike add-in for Outlook.  I use outlook 2016.  During the installation process, I'm taken to the web version of Outlook (where nothing really happens) and then back to the Windows Store page for the add-in where I receive a message that the "installation failed."

If anyone has any suggestions about how to successfully resolve this, please let me know.

Thanks!

Jeff

Hey Jeff, thank you for your reply! Maybe Anton's email to you got stuck in the spam/junk folders of your inbox? No worries, I've sent your contact info back to Anton and he'll be in touch. I'm also going to go ahead and edit your comment to remove your phone number so it wouldn't be displayed publicly. :)

Hello,

I'm having the same issue as those listed in this thread. Like them, I'm using Outlook 2016 and have tried getting the app in Outlook and from help.wrike.com. After clicking the Add button, I either get "ErrorAccessDenied" or "Installation Failed." Am I doing something incorrectly or could this Add-In be blocked by my company? I'd really appreciate your help. Thank you.

Hello. I too am experiencing this issue installing the Wrike add-in in Outlook 2016. The behavior is exactly as described the by the original poster Jeff Facteau. Since the solution is not posted here I called support but they were not able to resolve it. I would appreciate your assistance with a fix. Thank you!

Lisa, hi. I sent Andrew the information he requested though I confess I'm a little frustrated because the email he sent me seemed like a boilerplate rather than anything that reflected the support session we'd just completed. His email included a link to the article on how to install the add-in even though he'd just watched me (via screen share) follow that article's directions a dozen times, and it requested a screenshot of the installation error I was getting, even though he'd just witnessed a variety of errors and behaviors as we both tried to install the add-in repeatedly. The most common - but not only - behavior in fact is that the installation gives no error at all; it asks me to confirm our Exchange server and then takes me to Outlook web to authenticate my log-in credentials. I log in and nothing happens. There's no error but the add-in is not installed.

Ron Spence Thanks a lot for providing this additional detail on your interaction with our Support agent, we'll take it on internally. In the meanwhile, I can see there's another suggestion from the agent you interacted with. Please consider following this suggestion and if anything comes up, please let the agent know so they can continue the case. Thanks again and apologies for this inconvenience!

Hello! I am having the same issue. If I try to download from the Microsoft AppSource, I get the message "Taking you to Microsoft 365 to complete the process" and then a launch screen pops up that says "Installation failed". I have also tried to download the app directly from my Outlook ribbon under "Get Add-ins". I search for the Wrike for outlook app and then select "add" - I quickly get a response that says "ErrorAccessDenied".
