[Status: Launched! 🚀] Customising Project status

This would be a great improvement. In fact, I think it would make sense to allow the user to apply a certain set of project statuses at the level of a project or folder, to allow these to be flexible.

A user should be able to change the "Status" for the overall project, by customizing colors and text (Green, Red and Yellow is not robust enough).  One should be able to change Green to "On Time" or the equivalent for their business processes.

This feature would help improve the way my company uses Wrike for high level project status updates. If this became an option, I know many of us would appreciate it. Please highly consider executing the new feature.

Definitely need this.  Being able to have our own project statuses would also me mean the standard reports are useful.

I'm getting kinda tired of having to come and submit requests for what seem like pretty basic features and seeing that people have been asking for the same thing for nearly a year with nothing done about it. This is really a necessary feature when you're trying to project manage multiple projects at once and the colors don't do much. Custom workflows for projects!!! Please!

@Mykaela, I feel your pain. I've been working with Wrike for a while now and the project-level features seem to me to be very underdone compared with the task-level implementation. There generally needs to be more work done to provide better project management into the application. Customising project status is just one of a number weak project-related areas in the product as it stands.

What other Project Management systems are there to choose from that has this and more functionality? Any suggestions? It is pointless to keep on asking. Thanks

I'm adding my +1 to the pipeline... and encourage the developers to get it on the roadmap sooner, rather than later.  Please!

it's really a shame not to be able to use this feature so much that now we have the project widget in the dashboard !!!!👎👎👎👎

I really don't understand how this feature did not make it on the roadmap yet. especially with the project dashboard widget.

I would like to see this added as well. It is something that we need as part of our project approval process

Hi, I am voting for this feature as well, this came up the very first time we drafted a project status report.

Please add this feature.  It would be helpful to have the same customization here as what is available for folders.  Even if you can't provide the same/full color pallet as we have for folder status customization, perhaps even just the ability to edit the text.

I agree with the original post as well! It would also be helpful to see when and who changes a project status in the Project Stream. 

Please make include this in Wrike Labs soon so we can start tweaking it before adding it as default.

I miss the feature to define in which phase a project is (not a task). Like Initiation, Planning, Execution, Finalization. Right now the only way to handle this would be using a custom field. But in my point of view it should be a kind of standard field.

Agreed. It would be great to be able to customise a project status as currently we additionally use status's such as, Idea, Transition, Planning, Current etc to understand what phase each project is at and what roles are responsible. +1

If we were at least able to hide this field since we can't customize it, that would be helpful. It's confusing to have a custom field version of this field and have the standard one taking up space as well.
