[Status: Backburner ⌛️] Sort function for sub-tasks
I noticed that in list view, tasks can be sorted by name/date/etc. But when a task is opened in the "sub-task" pane, the list of sub-tasks isn't ordered the same way. Instead, it relies on manual sorting order. It would be great to be able to auto-sort sub-tasks similar to the list or table view. See image attached.
@elaine those are empty words. Instead of investigating the awful support (you get what you pay for and train people to do, so this is by design, I'm sure) which won't help anyone, why not do the work to allow us to sort tasks, helping every user in this thread and more. I can't get you to work on it by collecting more votes, you've basically decided to refuse to fix this basic functionality no matter what. Why are you so rigidly against a BASIC change many are asking for and would appreciate.
This blatantly anti user position makes no sense. Why do you arrogantly keep repeating that you know best what we want or need? It's very paternalistic and extremely insulting.
Hi Alexander Numann, I can assure you these are not empty words and we're following up internally on this.

Am now following this thread. We really need the ability to filter sub-tasks either by workflow status or by date due. Given the lack of progress though, I am not hopeful at all.
Hi Danzel Tay, thank you for supporting this suggestion, I understand that it can be frustrating not to see this feature implemented, but please rest assured that we are passing all your feedback on to our Product Team and that we will keep you updated in case there are any changes.
At the moment, you can apply such filters in the New Table view to filter subtasks depending on their status (or dates):
l understand this is not exactly what you are looking for, but hopefully, this option can help you make your work easier. Likewise, Dashboards can come in handy when you need to visualize items based on specific filters.
Please, if you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to share them with us.
Wrike's slogan should really be:
"Wrike: why do something in two clicks when it can be done in seven?"
Elaine last April you said your team was "following up internally on this" and "we have not refused to work on this". Here we are 18 months later with zero progress towards this feature many are asking for, unless you have some good news to share?
In the meantime we've had two interface updates I believe. Maybe the team could focus on what people *ARE* asking for? I haven't heard one person be enthusiastic about learning yet another interface which hides away important tools we use daily.
At the same time, longstanding and easy to reproduce bugs go unaddressed.
We understand your sentiment Alexander Numann. Our team is prioritizing many Community suggestions at the moment, some of them were only possible with an introduction of Wrike Lightspeed. I understand that there are still popular ideas that are not planned yet, like this one, and we'll continue sharing your feedback and the vote count with the respective team as things may change in the future. Thank you for your feedback.
