[Status: Not planned] "Conditional request" additional options
Hi, all.
We`re faced with a necessity of creating a task from the request form. But as a default option, we using "create project from a template"
For example:
Users creating requests for our department that as usually displaying like a project.
At the same time, we would like to receive simple tasks created by the same request form.
But we can`t
Of course, we can create another request form that will be creating only tasks or add another project template. But it is not convenient at all.
- In the first case, we will have to add a new request. So the possibility that someone will forget about the existence of a special request for the simple tasks is very high, especially when you have a lot of requests in your account.
- In the second case creating a new template for a project that will contain only one simple task is illogic. And also you will have to complete the task and then complete/delete the project. It is a lot of clicks.

Hi everyone! Thanks for joining the community and for adding your voices here. It sounds like this is something that your company as a whole is interested in and we'll definitely mention that when we pass this feedback along to our Product Managers.
Hey guys! I wanted to let you know that for now this suggestion, though very interesting, is not planned. I'll get back to you here if that ever changes. Thanks for your support!

Not sure if this is a helpful workaround since it requires a paid add-on, but it's possible to do this with Wrike Integrate. The basic approach we use is to create the project from template in a specific folder, and create a recipe that looks for new projects in that folder to trigger the creation of additional tasks outside the new project. I'd be happy to provide a public community recipe if anyone wants to see an example.
