Project name in emails
Please add the project name to the "Your task is waiting for your input" emails. Currently, these emails only include the task. I have dozens of projects with the same tasks, so without the project name, you might as well not even include the task either because I don't really know what it is. Sure, I can click to open the task in Wrike and find out soon enough, but with dozens of projects and scores of tasks in the works, it would be nice to see what project the email is about right there in the email before taking any action. Just a suggestion that I believe will improve efficiency.
Hey David - the easiest solution we've found for this is adding a TASK NAME PREFIX when we Duplicate the project from our Template. I guess this would only apply is you have templates for similar projects. The unique identifier (SKU) we use is a consistent pattern so all team members can easily understand what the project is.
Hi everyone! @David, thank you for posting this suggestion here. This isn't on our current roadmap, but I can see how it could help when working with recurring or similar Projects. @John, thank you for sharing that tip! This is definitely a good idea when working with templates.
I have the same problem! Only a few projects are duplicated. The prefix functionality should be available to add/change to projects at any time, even if created from scratch. Thanks
I second David's post; these emails really need to include project names to be useful. Task name prefixing is helpful to a degree, but it can result in very long task names. This can make it more difficult to quickly review a project plan, and prefixed task names are frequently truncated in List view (especially with the task pane open).
The "Your task is waiting for your input!" emails are useless because they don't include the name of the project the task is for. I want to see the project name also included in these emails. It would be more helpful so I could know at a glance which project the task relates to without having to click into the email.
Hi all, we have raised this to our Product Team and we appreciate your continued feedback here as it adds value to the internal conversations about this feature. If I receive any solid updates on this, I'll be sure to share them here. Thanks!
