How to distinguish my projects as a project manager
We have a master project list. There are 5 of us project managers so I see a lot of projects in this list that aren't necessarily of interest to me. I want to see just my projects. Problem is, you can't filter by Owner. What are people to work around this? Surely I'm not the only one who wants to just see my projects.
Right now, I'm double tagging some of my projects to be in the "Master Project List" and also in "My Project List". It's an extra step; but so far it's working pretty well.
Jared, thank you for posting on the Community! That's a great tip, I think it will definitely be useful to other users. Something else I wanted to suggest is starring your Projects, so they're always easy to access from the top of the Folder tree. Another solution would be to create a Report with Projects filtered by owner, and then use this Report as the main reference point. Happy to hear your thoughts on this!
Starring is a good idea. Maybe I'll go that route as that wouldn't require a new list/tag. The problem with running Reports is 1) we only have a Professional account, and 2) when I did have the trial that included Reports, the Report didn't seem to have all the functionality or views that I wanted.
Thank you for following up, Jared! Glad to hear starring could help here. In terms of Reports. Just let me know if you'd like to give them another try, we've been working on some enhancements so they might be a bit different to what you've tested before. I'd also love to learn about the views/functionality you felt were missing, our Product Team is interested in hearing feedback about this, so your ideas would be helpful. :)
