Why do some of my users have problems seeing tasks and some don't?

Hi.

 

I have some users that only get a small sample of tasks in their mobile app and they have checked their filter settings.

And the folder the task is in is shared with my group. 

Any tips?

Hi Jostein! If the Folder is shared with them then there are a few reasons this might be happening. 

  1. Where are people looking? If they're looking in the My Work section they'll only see tasks assigned to them, if they're looking in Inbox they'll only see notifications related to where they've been @mentioned or assigned. In this case, the best thing for them to do would be to @mention them on a task so that it shows up in their Inbox. 
  2. Try search, just to make sure that they should be able to see the tasks, can they try searching for the task and see if it appears?
  3. Use the browse view. Touch "Browse" at the bottom of the app, then navigate down through Folders until you find the one you're looking for. Click the filter icon and check that "show descendants" is enabled. (I know you said you checked filter settings, but always have to double check). 

Can you let me know if they're able to find the tasks? If now, we'll keep trying to figure out what's happening.
