Commenting On closed Tasks
Hello,
I am client serving agency, and my clients constantly comment on closed tasks. Not relavent information to that closed task, just like new questions (when I would rather them open a new task).
Is there some way to disable commenting if the task is in a certain (closed) state?
Thank you,
John
Hi John, this option is not available at the moment but it sounds like a great suggestion! I'll go ahead and move this to the Product Feedback section so our Product Team is aware and so other members can vote and discuss it further. Thanks for sharing!
Is there any update on this? I see it was posted quite a while ago and am hoping that this feature is now available... can you advise please Stephen? My team are also asking to disable comments on closed tasks/subtasks, as our clients constantly do the same thing as John's!
Thanks,
Cara.
Hello Wrike Team! We have the same issue as described above. Even worse, clients are contacting creative team without our knowledge and asking for revisions directly instead of going through appropriate channels by submitting a request for revise. Is there an update on this much needed feature?!
Hey Ron Licata, thank you for bumping this older thread!
Have you considered using Access Roles? It is possible to restrict clients from commenting by assigning a read-only role to them. On Enterprise accounts, it's also possible to create your own Access roles (more info in this article). Is this something that could work for your team?
