Attachments Paperclip icon

The way you can see there is an attachment with an icon of a paperclip in the "list" view. I would like to be able to see the same paperclip icon in the "table" view.

Is this possible?

Hi Jennifer, thanks for your post and welcome to the Community! There's no option to see attachment details in the Table View. Can you share some details on what benefits you gain from having this feature, or how you will use it? We can then look to include this in our Product Feedback section.

For now, as a workaround, you could create a Custom Field (e.g. 'Attachment included' checkbox). Users can then include this field when they attach a document and you can then see this information in a column in the Table View. I understand this is a more of a manual process but as soon as we have more information we can move your idea to the Product Feedback section.

Hi Stephen. We would also like to have this option. it would help us a lot to see which tasks have attachments in the table view, as we go through some of our projects during meetings in table view. Adding a custom field would certainly not be efficient as there's the possibility people might forget to update the information.

Hi Marc, I understand. If you haven't already could you please add a +1 to the first post in this thread? We use that number when reporting requests to our Product Team.

Having the paperclip icon in Table and Timeline view is important for us as well.  Would be great if we could also add a column that either displayed the paperclip icon and maybe the file name, or even allowed for uploading the file to that column instead of just the Task Title column.  Currently, only URL based links can be put in the other (text) columns and physical file attachments are limited to the Task Title column.

We would also like to see the paperclip in the table view as we use this view in our status meetings as well. Leadership doesn't want to dig into the details if they're looking for the final documents. I will try the custom field column for now but the icon would be best!

Hi All, just adding my use-case here. We have a large table of procedures assigned to my department to be written up (as just one of many examples). As soon as the document is uploaded, we'd like to see at a glance that this part of the process has been completed. Since the status at this point still just reads "Active" with my department, it looks as though nothing has changed, but the paperclip would show us that we are ready to move on to the next stage of developing the process.
A second use-case -- my department also has art requests submitted to it. When each task is completed and the status is changed to move the task out of my department, it would be helpful to see what was completed by having a file (ostensibly artwork) attached, and what status was changed without art, and may have other issues.
In this vein, it would be helpful to see what file extensions are attached to a task.

Trying to completey use Wrike to replace our need for AirTable, which has the ability to add a column where a thumbnail of the attachment is generated and you can click directly on that thumbnail to go straight to viewing the attachment. Would be very helpful in our content marketing usages. Thanks.
