Meet Our Team-Anton Danilov

We love hearing and learning from you and now we want to give you a little more insight into Wrike team members and what we’re working on. Our first employee spotlight is on Anton Danilov from our Product Management team.

Let's cover the basics

How long have you been at Wrike?

A little over a year.

What product area do you work on?

Trial and Admin experiences. So basically, my teams are working on improving the onboarding experience for people who are new to Wrike, as well as the experience of the Wrike admins who keep things running.

The more interesting questions

What are you working on, what are you trying to improve?

Wrike is super powerful, flexible, and feature rich - which is great because that means that it can work for a variety of teams and you can customize it to work for you. I want to make it easier for new teams to hit the ground running as soon as they start their trial. So all the releases I work on are geared toward achieving that goal. My other focus is to enable admins to effectively manage teams of varying scales and with different goals.

What is the hardest part about your job?

There is so much I want to work on, and so many things I want to improve. The problem is there are only 24 hours in a day and we can’t work on everything at once (even though I would very much love to)!

How do you decide what your team is going to work on next?

I’m always thinking about the end user's experience and putting myself in their shoes. My goal is to make the trial experience smooth, easy, and complete. So I try to think about what the best next move is (within my scope) that will make a new user’s introduction to Wrike better.

Then we go from there. We’re very data-driven, so we measure the impact of what we’re doing to make sure that we’re actually helping, as well as listening to the customer’s voice.

What has been your favorite release so far?

I actually can’t talk about that one, because it’s the project I’m working on right now. :) Stay tuned.

Random Fun Fact: What’s your favorite place to travel to?

Italy, hands down. To me, it has amazing culture and history, is has sea, mountains, and fantastic food, all in one place. One plane ticket and you get everything - I love that!
