Timeline -- print as seen
I would like to be able to choose if subtasks are printed or not.
Current behavior is to expand all subtasks for printing.
I would like to print the timeline as shown on screen.
a) After pressing "Collappse All" no subtasks should be printed
b) After pressing "Expand All" all subtasks should be printed
c) Selectively expanding subtasks should also print as shown on screen.
Hi Michael, thanks for submitting this request! Something I wanted to suggest is printing a Timeline Snapshot - subtasks are collapsed by default there. Happy to hear your thoughts on this!
Hello Anastasia, thank you for your hint. I have used Timeline Snapshot to distribute views to a timeline. How would I print a Timeline Snapshot? The snapshot does not provide an explicit printing menu, correct? So the only option would be to print a snapshot via the browsers printing functionality, or am I missing something?
Michael, thank you for getting back to me! That's correct, it would be best to adjust the browser printing view to horizontal orientation, and that should give you the printed view you're looking for. If the printed version gets distributed among different people outside of your Wrike account you can just send them the kink as well. Would this help?
I would like this capability as well. I get the message that I'm not authorized to access this page when I click on the "Timeline Snapshot" hyperlink.
I would also like to add to print the grid section on the left of the gannt chart
@Scott Hello! We just recently released the option to print the new Timeline, which works a little differently than Snapshots used to. Does that work a little better for your team?
Hi Stefanie! I miss the Snapshots option. This delivered a more detailed information with the hyperlink. Now I only can print out the pdf of the Gannt view what it looks unconfortable for complex timelines. Is there another possibility closer to the Snapshots?
Hi Stephanie,
I have the same problem with Jonathan.
How can we compare the original plan & current situation?
Although I guess Timeline Snapshot had been only way that we can compaire those....
Plerase advise.

Just jumping in here for Stephanie guys. Firstly, thanks for the feedback on the PDF printing, for now, we've passed this Feedback to the Product Team.
The team are working on Snapshots for Timeline, I don't have an exact date, but I'll keep you updated here when I have more info to share 👍
Hello
Regarding Timeline, I also confirm that I need to be able to print (pdf) the grid located on the left..
Also snapshot is very important for we because it's an easy way to share timeline (if they are complex)
Also, last requirement would be mpp (project) export format

Hi everyboday,
maybe I missed some information in the community...However I was adviced by another user that the "Old timeline" is avaiable in the wrike labs: www.wrike.coom/labs
There can be enabled again and be used simultaneously with the current version. This allows us to use the Snapshots again.
This helped me and I hope you too. I keep nevertheless waiting for the update of the new one
Regards
Jonathan.
