Hi Jilpa, welcome to the forums :) I want to make sure we're getting this request documented correctly. Would you like be able to find and replace certain keywords within a task description?
yes this would be great!
Perhaps to clarify, find and replace any text in the task description. Unsure the context of "keywords" in this case.
I will use this regularly to find six spaces and replace with one space, because of the copy/paste issues from MS Outlook into Wrike. Documented and confirmed, but no resolution. https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/requests/490187
Hi Nat, I can see the Support Team have outlined that the Product Team are interested in enhancing the text input in the description area. Although we have no solid dates to share threads like these help add value to those discussions so thank you for adding your input here!
Please add this feature. In order to use a project template this is an essential feature!
Can this be added for title, too? For example, say I use a request form to get info from a client and this info is used to generate a new project form a template. If I set one of the fields to serve as a prefix for all tasks, the prefix may obscure the meat of the task title in many views, including calendar and Gantt. If I had the ability to find and replace this prefix with an abbreviation, it sure would help.
I'm in the process of adding a 2019 project to our schedule and duplicated a 2018 project rather than creating the 100 or so tasks again. I'm now going through and updating the task prefix (which has the year in it) manually. A general find/replace feature would be VERY helpful. But it needs to have some scope requirements, e.g, find/replace within a project, within a folder, include sub folders, etc.
