Notification if tasks haven't been added in time period

We have a project set up for all of our clients, and we add tasks for each one on an ongoing basis. What we would like is to have some sort of notification (or at the very least a filter available) for each client who hasn't had a task added in a certain time period. Is that something that's possible to set up?

Hi Dana, I want to make sure I understand: so you create a Project for all of your clients, and then the client needs to add a task to that Project within a certain time period, or someone from your internal team needs to add a task to the Project within a certain amount of time?

Each client has their own project, and someone from our internal team should be adding a new task to the project within a certain time frame. What I'm looking for is a sort of notification that lets them know if that has not been done within that time frame.

Got it, that makes sense! One thing you could try is to create the task (an empty task is fine) you just need to make sure it has a due date. Someone would then fill in data to this task (when they're ready) and change the status out of the first default status.

Then you can create a Dashboard widget. You would want to create a widget which shows tasks from all your client Folders, which are in the first default status, and which are due today. This would let you see all clients where tasks haven't been created within "x" amount of time. If you need tasks created every "x" days for a client, then you could make it a process to create an empty task with a future date after you complete the previous task.

Please let me know if that makes sense or if you think that could potentially work and I can go into more details on how to create the Dashboard widget.
