Importing into Wrike
Why is it difficult to import an Excel spreadsheet into Wrike? The spreadsheet must have too many parameters met in order to have a successful importation. This process should be much easier.

Hello Mark! Thank you for sharing your thoughts here.
While our template spreadsheet does have quite a few required columns to work, there is no need to enter all the parameters, you can always download a draft with all the columns ready: https://cl.ly/1W2Y252V1M41 On the contrary, it is very easy to create tasks or Folders using Excel, just type in the Folder or task titles - this will be sufficient to import a task list into Wrike. The rest is optional. You can then add this info once the list is imported in Wrike.
Excel import is also great when you need to import data from another application, as you can copy and paste data in Excel in bulk; it is also very useful for simple data backup, which is why it offers so many parameters.
We would love to hear your ideas on how our current Excel import could be improved, you are welcome to share it in our Product Feedback section.

Hi
I used your template to create an import of tasks. I used the exact format but the section names became tasks and it's showing all the tasks in alpha order and not under the appropriate sections.
What can I do to fix this?
Hi Sara, thanks for reaching out! To create Folders instead of tasks, make sure to put slashes before and after the title, for example, /Folder/. Tasks added to the rows under that Folder will be included into that location. Does that help? Please let me know if any further assistance is needed!
